After three decades of exhibiting at Fire & Iron Gallery, Paul has put his hammer down for a well-earned retirement. We are delighted and honoured that he has chosen Tom Quinnell at Fire & Iron to ensure the continuation of the making of his distinctive collection of interior and exterior ironwork.

Paul has an extensive collection of designs that he has created and developed over a long, successful career as a blacksmith, sculptor & designer. Paul trained as a blacksmith at Hereford Technical College in the 1970s as well as studying Art & Design at Bournville College in the 1980s. For 35 years Paul worked with Lucy Quinnell at Fire & Iron Gallery to bring thousands of beautiful iron artworks to our customers.
In early 2024 Tom spend some time with Paul at his workshop in Belbroughton, Worcestershire, initially learning the processes involved in the making of Paul’s iconic range of ‘Flying Geese’ sculptures. Tom has since moved on to creating a wide range of Paul’s interior & exterior designs at Fire & Iron.
